With regard to the Kenyan vision of development with the objective of creating a globally competitive and prosperous nation and aiming to transform Kenya into an industrialized, middle-income country providing a high quality of life to all its citizens by 2030 in a clean and secure environment, the Global Investment Summit and Exhibition is envisioned where policy makers, opinion leaders, business leaders, media leaders and academicians from across the globe will interact and exchange ideas in a conducive environment to create a road map for taking Kenya into the big league of nations.

The Summit aims to evolve an economic framework beneficial to Kenya that incorporates the strengths of the nation. The
Summit will evolve a workable economic model in the following priority sectors that make up 57% of Kenya's GDP and provide for nearly half of the country's total formal employment

  • tourism
  • agriculture
  • wholesale and retail trade
  • manufacturing
  • it enabled services (previously known business process off-shoring)
  • financial services
  • flag ship projects

The Summit aims to

  • Bridge the information gap of Kenya
  • Provide multilevel interaction platform between policy makers, business leaders, potential investors, opinion leaders and other stakeholders
  • Generate and execute workable economic development model
  • Develop mutually beneficial relationship between policy makers and investors

It is pertinent to understand that no country can achieve development goals in isolation in the current interdependent and globalized world

The Global Investors' Meet therefore aims to facilitate multilateral engagements between various cross sections of stakeholders.

The Global Investors outreach event aims at bringing increased investment into Kenya and thus enhance economic activity which would help bring in prosperity to nation and gradually uplift it to a middle level economically prosperous nation in the next one and a half decade.

Kenya’ quest for development is unmatched in the African continent and has the potential of becoming driver of economic growth for itself as well as neighboring countries in the East African region.

In the above context, the Summit would broadly consist of the following:

  • Day One-Inaugural Ceremony
    Sectoral Seminars (Two)
    Networking Dinner and Cultural Show
  • Day Two- Sectoral Seminars (Two)
  • Valedictory Session
